This is how the ad read:

Two Altec Voice of the Theatre Speakers. Model A8. Size 30" wide, 24" deep, cabinet 42" high. With horn 52" high. 8 ohm with crossover. $300. for both or $175 each. "

By the way, I noticed (among other things) that the pair in Baltimore has the N501-8A crossover (500 hz) being used with 811B horns......

I got an email back from the owner they were sold. Maybe he's just lazy?

Dunno.

Edit...several hours later...got an email from an acquaintance...thanking me for the heads up. he got them. So this deal apparently was legit.

Ahh, good point! Of course they could have been biamped.
I suspect the other pair = 511B.
